With Teeth

Through the lens of visual storytelling, I explore an anthropological account of the human relationship with teeth. How behaviors and traditions in the analogs of history, weigh heavily on our interactions and perceptions of teeth today. Framing the narrative of teeth within a pocket of the world of the ‘collector’ and their collection. A mysterious villain belonging to the pantheon of creatures who want teeth. Creating a tactile and immersive environment to explore discomfort and peculiarity, confronting the reality that there isn’t a singular standard of beauty or practice with teeth.
