[title]
Medea is a Greek tragedy written by Euripides in 431 BCE. Telling the story of Medea, the play features the narrative of a woman who loved with her whole being, and lost everything because of it. I decided to retell this story for a modern time, depicting it for a visual audience, in which it was no longer limited to the confines of the stage. This body of work pushed my skills as I explored many aspects of character design, landscape, and composition. Through this narrative I intend to show how inspiring history can be, and bring that history into a new age.
