Celina

Inspired by my adoration of highly detailed 3D art and the effort it takes to create them, especially in video games, I have spent the past two years learning as much as I could about the 3D game art workflow and what it means to become a game artist. I pushed myself to whatever limits I could and brought my characters to life. For my thesis, I modeled, rigged, and animated a multitude of human and non-human characters, and environmental props. I created my main character, Celina, and a spirit girl named Bari. I spent the most time with these two characters, as character modeling is what I’m really passionate about. Within this project lies exactly what I wish to pursue in my future career.

Bio

Colette LaFave is a character designer, 3D modeler and rigger. From a very young age, she discovered the world of video games and was always fascinated by the skills and beauty involved in creating 3D characters, and the ability to make them come to life. Colette is always up for a challenge and can be counted on to make sure to push through them to the end.
