This body of work is inspired by selected poems written by Nikita Gill. The themes of Gill’s work range from empowerment and grief to hope and growth. Each illustration draws upon elements found in the natural world as a way to connect the literary and visual lens. The use of graphite enhances the dreamlike relationship between atmosphere and landscape to create room for inner reflection.
