Overwhelmed

As someone with Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, I lack the ability to just shut off my mind and not think. I Photograph nature that shows how I live with this disorder and to show not only to others but to myself that there's more to my disorder than the eyes can see. My Digital Photography explores my own internal experiences of having ADHD through the outward environment. I use nature to represent the chaotic state of my brain through the chaotic nature. I go out to nature where I focus on branches that have been intermingled together, waterfalls crashing, a single weed in a dark field, the interworking of bark falling of a tree and even the shed of a bunny's fur.

Bio

Grace Wright Is a digital photographer from Pepperell, Massachusetts. She is an expressive documentary photographer, whose work looks at the internal experience through the outward environment. Her love of photography began when her Mother would give her disposable cameras at a young age to take photographs of whatever she wanted.
