Ambrosia

Ambrosia is the nectar of the gods, it brings longevity and strength to those who drink it. I built the basics of a wine brand and illustrated five labels for five types of wine this brand would sell. In this collection of wine illustrated labels I focused on a connection with nature, considering the symbiotic relationship between people and trees. Growing up in the Adirondacks near a nature preserve, I have developed a great appreciation for the environment and conservation. Keeping in mind these ideas of nature and interconnection I created Ambrosia.

I started out with the image of a tree to represent the company's ties to the environment. Trees are often symbols of life, growth, and prosperity. My trees are modeled off of Bonsai trees, which reflects not only harmony between humans and nature, but the time and dedication that went into creating the illustrations. I chose the palettes for each label based on the flavors that can be found in each of the wines.
