Pig Den

Pig den is about power dynamics. I use the relationship between a pig and a butcher as a metaphor to show that hierarchy and power are present in every interaction. As a farmer, I have seen that the fluctuation of control is very present in this relationship. The pig needs the farmer to take care of them and keep them alive, and the farmer needs the pig to provide them with food and profit. This same dynamic can be applied to any and every situation in everyday life. Every situation is influenced by power even if it is not apparent, and every interaction has a hierarchy.
